I look forward to using my experience as a licensed therapist, professor and trainer to hear you and meet your needs.
The challenges you face may be overwhelming at times, and with over 30 years of experience as a psychotherapist, I hope I can join with you to overcome life's difficulties. Clients need someone to listen and understand what their goals are and use the best available research to meet those goals. My years of experience as a Director of a County Mental Health Center included working with mood disorders, children and adults, marriage & family issues, and trauma. I look forward to using my experience as a therapist, professor and trainer to hear you and meet your needs.
I supervised, trained therapists, and taught classes on trauma, especially Child Sexual Abuse, Mood Disorders, and child and family treatment, for many years, and trained therapists at the state level. I enjoy working with students and understand issues they face due to my experience teaching. My graduate degree specialty was Marriage and Family Therapy.
My experience as Associate Director of the IU School of Law Child Advocacy Clinic, which provided services to the court in custody cases and training law students, provides you with an understanding therapist; this enables me to bring a wide range of knowledge to value each unique client.
I look forward to meeting with you. If you are interested in meeting with me, please fill out the intake forms or contact me for more information.
